4168944 Cpl Jenner 103 Squadron RAF Nicosia BFPO 53 March 9 Dear daddy Thank you for your letter. I hope Lena received her birthday card okay. I shall complete the forms and post them off. I have got a MCSOSA badge and want to get a plaque soon if possible. I take it the elms is definitely sold by now. I’m glad it’s not offices anyway – that would be the last straw – but what will happen to the MCSOSA. Where will they meet? I hope you will be able to come to Cyprus. Ian’s mother comes out in November. We are all well here. David imitates everything, especially driving the car and says “bib-bib” when at the wheel. I am learning to drive. Mr Hubble has pneumonia. He is 80. I watched and air display last week. Very good, Ian’s helicopters took part. We saw The Hunters doing formation flying etcetera. You won’t be very far from Ian’s father. He lives at Southampton. How is Jesse getting on? We are hoping for a letter soon. Ethel’s birthday is on 23rd of March. Our Hereford friend has given us his record player and a few records. Ian wants to build a cabinet for it. I gave a party for my class (23) last Saturday it was a success. David had a tantrum in the middle of it. Ian has had the car undersealed. Glad you liked magazines. I write the editorials too and a few articles as well. Sometimes I go to the office. They all like David down there and play with him. Well there’s no more news and present so I’ll say bye bye Love from Flora Ian and David PS will you put some flowers on the grave? I will send money later for them.
