Actual Text:
Particulars and conditions of sale of valuable freehold and copy hold dwelling houses which will be sold by auction by Mr Henry J Austin at the Star in Mayfield on Saturday 28th of October 1865 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon Particulars Lot 1 a freehold dwelling house and garden in fletching Street, Mayfield, late the residence of Mr Walter Memorandum of agreement that Mr George Piper has this day purchased lot one mentioned in the within particulars of sale, subject to the within conditions, at the price of £200. And is paid into the hands of Mr Benjamin Buss the sum of £20 by way of deposit, and in part payment of said purchase money, and just agreed to pay the vendor's on the 25th day of December next the sum of £180 the residue of the said purchase money; and the vendor's and purchaser do hereby respectfully agree to fulfil all within the conditions of sale. Witness our hands this 28th day of October 1865 George Piper Benjamin Buss
