Actual Text:	MARDEN WEDDING. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Margaret's Church. Collier Street, on January 8th. between Mr. Samuel Dann, late West Kent Yeomanry, son of Mr. Samuel Dann, of Paddock Wood, and Miss Cissie Ida Norton, only daughter of G. E. Norton, of Crow Plain, Marden. The Vicar, the Rev. Henry officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore dress of white Crepe-de-chine trimmed with silver, and an embroidered net veil from a wreath of orange blossoms. Her only ornament was a gold and ruby pendant, the gift of the bridegroom, and she carried a bouquet. The bride was attended by four bridesmaids. three being the Misses Nellie (chief), Jennie and Freda Dann, sisters of the bridegroom, who were dressed blue velvet with hats to match, and the bride's little cousin. Miss Joyce Larncy, who was attired in shell pink silk trimmed swansdown, and mob cap to match. The bridesmaids carried bouquets, the gift the bridegroom. Sergt. Pearch, R A F., cousin of the bridegroom. acted as best man, and Mr. Arthur Norton, bother the bride, presided the organ. A large number of friends awaited the departure the bridal party from the and liberally bombarded them with confetti as they drove away. After the ceremony between forty and fifty guests sat down to breakfast at Crow Plain, and the happy pair subsequently left for Brighton, where the honeymoon is being spent, the bride travelling in a brick-coloured crepe Rajah gown, musquash coat and black velour hat.
