PETERSTOW. Funeral of Mr James Cole. -- The funeral of Mr. James Cole, whose death occurred on Friday last, took place at Peterslow on Tuesday afternoon last, when the Rev. R. Harrington, Vicar, con. ducted the service. The coffin which was of polished oak, with brass furniture, bore the following inscription :- "James Cole ; born Nov. 17th, 1827 ; died Oct. 7th, 1910 " The deceased leaves • widow, two sons, and five daughters to mourn his loss. The chief mourners were Mr. Cole, Underhill (son), Mrs. T. Wall, The Grove (daughter), Mr. A. Cole, Dednor Farm (son), Mrs. H. Cox. Woothope (daughter), Mrs. J. H. Batchelor and Mrs. W. Hazlehurst, Altrincharn (daughter), Mrs. S. Morgan, Ystrad (daughter), Mr. Richard Phillips (Ledbury), Mr. T. Wall, Mr. Sidney Morgan, Mr. J. H. Batchelor, Mr. W. Hazlehurst, Mr. William Cole, and many other friends. Wreaths were sent by the following : From his loving wife, daughter and son (Martha and Will) ; "In affectionate remembrance," from William and Sarah; from his sorrowing daughter and grandchildren (Woolhope) ; "In loving memory of oar dear father," from Carrie and Jim; " With heartfelt sympathy," from his daughter and son (Lizzie and Sidney); " With deepest sympathy , 'from Andrew and Annie; " In loving memory," from all the grandchildren at Underhill ; from Alfred (Woolhope) ; from Margery arid Edward ; from R. Phillips ; Mrs. Armitage and family (Dadnor), Mr. and Mrs. Keen (The Flann), Miss Dew (The Grove), Mr. and Mrs. T. Batchelor (Altrincham), Mr. and Mrs. Jones (Pencraig), Mr. Hall and family (Peterstow), Mr. Benson, Mr. Sidney Smith and son, and others. Mr, Witcher (Peterstow) efficiently carried out the duties of undertaker.
