PROMOTION Of STATIONMASTER. - Mr. A. L. Guy, who has been stationmaster at Harlow for just over 3 years, has been promoted to a similar position at Cheshunt, with charge also of Theobalds Grove and Forty Hill, Wad will take up his new appointment next Monday. Before coming to Harlow he held the position of stationmaster at Stansted for seven years and he and Mrs Guy took a leading part in organising the First Aid Services and training of personnel to and after the outbreak of war. Mts. Guy was secretary of the Stansted Women's Institute for a time. At Harlow Mrs, Guy has been secretary and is now president of the Women's Institute. and has also done ,a good deal of Red Cross work. Since the beginning of this year Mr. Guy has been secretary of the newly formed W.R.A. branch.
