Army Form B. 128 Parchment Certificate of Discharge of number R A 94311 Gunner David John Morris number 14 company Regiment of Western division for artillery. Born in the parish of Woodside near the town of Cinderford in the county of Gloucestershire. Attested at Newport on 16 November 1892 for the Royal Artillery Regiment, at the age of 28 years eight months. He is discharged in consequence of his own request on payment of £18. Service towards completion of limited engagement: Army 3 years 12 days. Total 3 years 12 days. Service abroad 1 year, 301 days. Medals and decorations nil. Place Port Royal Jamaica, 28th of November 1895. Singature illegible discharge confirmed at up Park Camp, Jamaica Signiture illegible dated 28th of November 1895. Description on final discharge of number R A Gunner DJ Morris of the number 14th company of Western Division Royal Academy. Age 23 years 8 months, height 5'7", complexion fair, eyes blue, hair fair, trade Smith, marks or scars with on face other part of the body nil, intended place of residence High Street, Cinderford, Gloucestershire. Discharged the service at Port Royal Jamaica this 28th day of November 1895
