Actual Text:	NEW PROF. FOR HAWICK AND WILTON. It is not likely that there will be many changes in the personnel of the Hawick and Wi ton team, but the fact that the whole of last year's players will turn out, including the veteran Adam Turnbull, speaks well for the success of the club in this season's campaign. The eleven will be captained by I. Gray-Wa:lis, who has done good service for the club in past years, and he will have G. A. B ackie as his vice, while R. Turnbull will again act as secretary. The fixtures are much the same as in previous years, except that fixtures have been given to Dunfermline Carnegie and Tynemouth, who will be touring the Borders in June and July respective'y. Peebles County will be the first club to be met on 2nd May, and from that date to September sth, when Carlisle will be met, the members will be kept busy. One of the features of the season will be the contest in connection with the Border League championship, which promises to be exceptionally interesting, and the club are hopeful of taking a prominent part in this season's competition. The new professional is Harold Jenner who for the past two seasons has been engaged with the Grange. He is a promising bowler, and although he has not yet been tested in club matches he has created a most favourable impression at the nets, and hopes are entertained that he will prove a most useful asset to the club
