She had been unwell for some months but she had been active until the previous Sunday. I am extremely sorry I have not written before but I have been extremely busy harvesting and, in fact, I only came across your address at the Wellands a few days ago. The funeral took place at Peterstow Church before a large gathering on Saturday the 29th of August. Perhaps you would be kind enough to inform your relations in Maidstone of our sad loss. I hope that you and your family are well Yours sincerely Lionel Wall </span></span>
