    Dear Harry
Re: Ernest 's claim, you make it perfectly clear what has happened and a reply from Fingal will probably settle the affair. Cannot quite understand why the Tunbridge Wells lawyers who drew up the release could advise Uncle John that the document would stop any further claim. We had a few lines from Floss telling us Tot & family were on their voyage to America again, she also mentions that Gran Richardson was dead and I saw a short account of the funeral in the Tunbridge Wells paper.
Am glad to hear you are getting straight at St Monica's. I expect you will find directly you arrive at this happy state the ladies will discover it is time for spring cleaning and then the performance must be all gone through again. That is how I have found it and I don't think mine is a solitary case. We have no maid but three chars come in rotation. Your Aunt Em has been in bed with bronchitis since Sunday. Edith Horning is staying at Hawkhurst for a time, but not at our show. She has apartments down the road. Shall be pleased to see you or yours should you get an opportunity of visiting The Moor.
    Your affectionate uncle
    A Piper
