    Text Whitsun Weddings
    MR. FRANK GOULD AND MISS EDITH EDWARDS. A pretty Whitsun wedding took place at Hanwell Wesleyan Church on Monday when the contracting parties were Mr. Frank Machin Gould. third son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Gould. of The Broadway, Hanwell, and Miss Edith Edwards, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs Edward J. Edwards. of 172. Framfield-road. The bride was given away by her father. She was suitably attired in a gown of mirror satin, draped at the side with a spray of orange blossom. She wore a tulle veil surmounted by a a wreath of orange blossom. Her only ornament was a rope of pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses, carnations and white heather, this being the gift of the bridegroom. The officiating minister was the Rev. J. R. Ratty. Mr. Henry Gould was best man. The bridesmaids were the Misses Winifred and Patty Gould. sisters of the bridegroom. They wore tunic gowms of a pastel shady of fawn marocain, em. broidered in blue and silver, and their hats were of delphinium blue georgette and silver crinoline straw, with a -mail posy of blush pink roses, and they bore shower bouquets of blush pink roses. The brides mother wore a gown of grey marocain with figured rnarocain to match. Her black hat was relieved with flowers to tone with the gown. The bridegroom's mother wore a gown of chiffon velvet and georgette, with hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of yellow tea roses. The Wedding March was played at the close of the ceremony. and a reception followed in the Cuckoo Rooms of the Park Hotel. Later the happy pair left for Dawlish, Devon, for the honeymoon. The wedding guests numbered 40. and 70 beautiful and useful sifts were received. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a gold Albert, that of the bridegroom to the bride a natural wolf fur, and those of the bridegroom to the bridesmaids silver chain bags.
