In the name of God Amen. I, William Harrison of Tibthorpe in the parish of Kirkburn in the county of York, yeoman, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, and overmindful of my mortality do make my will as follows:
First , I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Susannah Harrison all and every the goods, furniture, effects and of what nature or kind the same maybe which shall (at the time of my decease) shall be in the parlour of this my house where i do now dwell in Tibthorpe aforesaid and in the bedroom or chamber over the same parlour and each of them to and for her own use, benefit and advantage and dispose of as she, my said wife, may think proper.And I give and bequeath unto my said wife the sum of fifty pounds to be paid to her at the expiration of the first three calender months next after my decease to be paid to her by my sons Robert and James out of the lands, tenements, hereditaments and property hereinafter after given, devised or bequeathed to them, my said sons, Robert and James, or either of them. And all which lands, tenements, hereditaments, and property whatsoever hereafter given, devised or bequeathed unto my said sons Robert and James I do hereby charge with the full and due payment of the said sum of fifty pounds to my said wife at the time aforesaid, together with all costs, charges and expenses as she, my said wife, may sustain or be put into or about or for and by reason demanding, receiving, compelling, or forcing the due payment of the said sum of fifty pounds or any part thereof at the time given above.

Item , I give and devise unto my eldest son [Thomas Harrison] all those my messuages, lands, and tenements situate, lying, and being at Tibthorpe in the parish of Kirkburn aforesaid, to hold to him, his heirs, and assigns forever.
And I give and bequeath unto my younger son [John Harrison] the sum of one hundred pounds, to be paid to him by my executors within twelve months after my decease.
Lastly , all the rest, residue, and remainder of my personal estate, goods, and chattels whatsoever, after payment of my just debts, funeral expenses, and the charges of proving this my will, I give and bequeath unto my said wife and sons, to be equally divided among them share and share alike.
And I hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint [William Bradley], [Michael Jones], and [Robert Taylor] to be executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof , I, the said William Harrison, have hereunto set my hand and seal this [day] of [month], in the year of our Lord [year].

First, I give and devise to my son William Harrison all those my freehold messuages or dwelling houses, situate and being in Tibthorpe aforesaid, together with the appurtenances thereto belonging, to hold to him, his heirs, and assigns forever, subject to the payment of the sum of fifty pounds to my daughter Mary Harrison within six months after my decease.
Also, I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Harrison the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain, to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named within twelve months after my decease.
And lastly, all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, real and personal, whatsoever and wheresoever, I give, devise, and bequeath to my son John Harrison, whom I hereby nominate and appoint sole executor of this my last will and testament, revoking all former wills by me made.

And I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Harrison the sum of five hundred pounds to be divided between all the children of his late brother Richard Harrison equally after the decease of my son Thomas, to be held in trust for that purpose by my executors hereinafter named.
I further direct that if my son Thomas should die without issue, the said sum of five hundred pounds is to revert to the children of my son John Harrison equally.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret the sum of three hundred pounds to be paid to her at the expiration of six months after my decease, the same to be held in trust for her use by my executors hereinafter named.
All my estate and effects, real and personal, whatsoever and wheresoever, I give, devise, and bequeath to my son John Harrison, whom I appoint my sole executor, for the purpose of paying my debts and the legacies herein mentioned and for his own use.
And lastly, I revoke all former wills made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament.

And I direct that the said executors proceed to the payment of the first sum of five hundred pounds to my said son Thomas at the time and in the manner hereinbefore mentioned for that purpose, and also to pay or provide for any such sums as may be necessary for the payment of the interest thereof, as well as the other legacies herein mentioned.
I give and devise all that my messuage or dwelling house, situated in the town of Tibthorpe aforesaid, and also all those orchards, closes, lands, and grounds belonging and adjoining to the said dwelling house, and all and singular the premises and property whatsoever and wheresoever belonging to me in Tibthorpe aforesaid unto my said son John Harrison and his heirs and assigns forever.
I give and devise all that my tenement, lands, and closes situated at Tibthorpe aforesaid, and adjoining and belonging thereto, to my son Thomas and his heirs and assigns forever.
I also direct that the North and West lands of all that my close or piece of meadow adjoining the town street of Tibthorpe aforesaid, containing five acres (be the same more or less), shall remain common to each of the said houses and premises hereby devised to my said sons John and Thomas as hereinafter particularly directed.
And I give and devise all my messuages, lands, and tenements, not herein otherwise disposed of, and all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said son John Harrison, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, for his and their own use and benefit forever, subject to and chargeable with the payment of the several legacies hereinbefore mentioned and directed to be paid.
And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son John Harrison to be the sole executor of this my last will and testament. And lastly, I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills by me made.

...and to pay and discharge all costs and expenses of such release or division, and for that purpose, and for the charge and expense of administering the said trusts, it is my mind and will, and I do hereby expressly direct that my executors and trustees shall have full power and authority to raise, levy, and take any sum or sums of money by way of mortgage, sale, or otherwise, of the said premises.
And I give and devise the messuage or dwelling house wherein I now reside, with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereto belonging, situate in the parish of Tibthorpe, and also all my messuages, cottages, lands, and tenements whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said son John Harrison, his heirs and assigns, forever.
