Reprehensible Conduct
Edward William Gould (20) butcher of 134 Uxbridge - road, Hanwell , and Gordon White (19) assistant caretaker of St Ann’s School Hanwell were charged with insulting behaviour— Constable 182X said he saw the prisoners in Uxbndge-road, Ealing, the previous evening, knocking one about the footway. There was a crowd of other lads with them and when the prisoners were arrested, Gould they were all ' on to him”. White attempted to trip the constable, and the the assistance of civilians was requisitioned. - Constable 590X said that he heard a police whistle blown. and went to the last witness' assistance.— Two civilians gave evidence of the prisoners’ behaviour and were by the Bench for assisting the police— The prisoners were fined 10s each and the civilians each allowed 5s.

Mr A. L. GUY AND MISS H. M GOULD
The wedding was solemnised on Monday at St. Mary's (Hanwell), Parish Church, of Mr. Arthur L Guy. of St. Ives, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. M Guy, of Dorothea House. Manes. Cambs, and Miss Helen Mary Gould, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S Gould. of The Broadway, Hanwell. The Rev. T. T. Hedges officiated.
The bride, who was given away by her father. wore ivory crepe de chine veiled with georgette and embroidered with beads, and over her wreath of orange blossoms a veil belonging to the bridegroom's family. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and roses, and her string of pearls and diamond brooch were the gifts of the bridegroom.
There were four bridesmaids - Miss Patty Gould and Miss Winnie Gould, sisters of the bride, and Miss Lily Guy and Miss Dorothy Guy. sisters of the bridegroom. Their dresses were of pale lemon crepe de chine. with tulle veils to match, and wreaths of bronze leaves, their shower bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums and their amber necklaces bring the presents of the bridegroom.
Mrs Gould wore a dress of navy blue charmeuse embroidered with silver, and hat to match, and the bridegroom's mother a navy blue costume with hat to match Mr. F Gould supported the bridegroom as best man.
At the Conclusion of the ceremony Mr R H Kerrage played Mendlelsohn's wedding march, and afterwards forty guests attended the reception at the Park Hotel. Later in the day the bride and bridegroom left to spend their honeymoon at Babbacombe, South Devon, the bride travelling in a costume of nigger- brown gabardine, with hat to match and skunk furs.
Over sixty handsome and useful wedding presents were received.

MR. E. S. GOULD
Mr Edward Stephen Gould, of 134, Uxbridge Rroad, Hanwell, died at his home on Monday at the age of 71. He had carried on a butcher's business at that address for more than 30 years. and was a member of the Hanwell Chamber of Trade. He leaves a widow, four sons and three daughters.
The funeral will take place at the City of Westminster Cemetery, Hanwell, on Monday, at 3.30 p.m.
