Reprehensible Conduct
Edward William Gould (20) butcher of 134 Uxbridge - road, Hanwell , and Gordon White (19) assistant caretaker of St Ann’s School Hanwell were charged with insulting behaviour— Constable 182X said he saw the prisoners in Uxbndge-road, Ealing, the previous evening, knocking one about the footway. There was a crowd of other lads with them and when the prisoners were arrested, Gould they were all ' on to him”. White attempted to trip the constable, and the the assistance of civilians was requisitioned. - Constable 590X said that he heard a police whistle blown. and went to the last witness' assistance.— Two civilians gave evidence of the prisoners’ behaviour and were by the Bench for assisting the police— The prisoners were fined 10s each and the civilians each allowed 5s.BL_0003910_19101126_009_0009
