    Dear daddy
A quick line from us. Hope you are well. Hope to that Lena received her card okay from us.

We haven't heard from Jesse yet. How is MCSOA going on? Ian will enclose a PO for 10 shillings as my sub for it. I have remembered at last!

No news yet from Laurie Milbank. I wrote to them about three weeks ago.

I am seriously thinking of taking in backward kiddies for coaching in the evenings in English et cetera. Have you any books which I could use please – both for scholar and teacher? I haven't advertised yet but shall do shortly I think. I also might study for GCE maths or something as I must use my mind more than at present.

One of the parents of a girl in my SS class came up and told me how much I had taught her daughter and how pleased she was. These people are very snooty and I always believed, critical, but apparently they thought highly of me as a teacher. We are going to a beach barbecue on Easter day. We have bought a budgerigar. He sings and is lovely. David loves him and Muf is as satanic as a cat can be.

David is well. He has come into a legacy of one tricycle and a push horse from some people returning to UK.

    Will Trotsky emigrate to Sussex?

Well I must close now. PS Ian hired the Messiah last week and we played the records very nice.

    Lots of love

    Flora

PPS Miss Bunch says she has seen you a lot lately and Woolworths is all modern.
