RANGERS' TRAINER KILLED
Quartermaster-Sergeant Harold James Jenner, of 61a, Milward Road, Hastings, has been reported killed in action while serving with the B.E.F. in France. In civil life he will be remembered as trainer and occasional player' for the Hastings Rangers football team, of which he was a keen supporter, He had been employed by the Hastings Gas Company for some years. He was 34 years old and had been in the Territorials for 13 years. On the outbreak of war he was drafted to France with Royal Sussex Regiment: He leaves a widow and two children. |
