    Text SALEHURST. SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO CYCLIST.—On Monday morning, Mr. Piper, a grocer, of Hawkhurst, while descending the steep hill between the church at Higham on his bicycle appears to have had side slip owing teethe slippery condition of the road. He was discovered lying in a ditch and Dr. Hoar, of Robertsbridge, was summoned. The injuries comprised severe concussion, a bruised face and cut nose, and the sufferer was conveyed to the residence of Mr. R. H. Taylor. Assistance was rendered by Messrs. T. Hoad, H. Croft, T. Panby and G. Standen.
