Forgive girlie for writing so badly, it is so hot Bubbles dear.come back safely, darling boy xx

    My own darling boy.
There seems such a lot to tell you, sweetheart, and yet there really isn't anything, isn't girlie peculiar. It has seemed such ages since Tuesday really it has, Bubbles. I have missed you so much. The postman did not bring girlie a card so she has been wondering if Bubbles might be coming home. It is such a lovely evening, but Fluffy knows that Bubbles is working so as to be able to swoop down and run off with his own little girlie. Won't it be lovely Bubbles. I won't be long now really, will it sweetheart mine. I shall be so oh! so glad Bubbles dear. I called in at your place this afternoon your ma was going to Marden with Freda by train and then back again. Your uncle George Prall called last night. John has mumps and probably caught them at Maidstone grammar school, so i suppose his poor wife has so much to do now!! Don't you get them Bubbles. It would be so funny because girlie would have them too! Today is Wednesday (of course you know) so I could not get any notepaper, sweetheart. Of course Bubbles will not mind. I wish you were here, darling boy. The evenings are lovely, but too long without you, my own darling boy. Come back safely, won't you Bubbles. I want whoever so much. It has been so hot, and girlie has felt so tired today. It would be so nice to have Bubbles, because he is so kind to Fluffy, even when she is naughty, but girlie loves her darling boy and wants him to return here so soon. Toad is going to Maidstone by bus on Thursday!! I guess he enjoys it don't you sweetheart? Bubbles, I want to ask you something on Saturday, say “bicycle” to Fluffy then she will remember what it is. The cherries will soon be ripe. I shall be glad when they are, won't you sweetheart?
It is getting late Bubbles dear. So I will soon say goodnight to you sweetheart. I have been so tired today. So I am off to bed early period only it is too nice to go to bed, isn't it Bubbles. I wish you were here, dear old sweetheart. See you soon now, eh, Bubbles dear. Free more days then bubbles will turn back, all being well. Till then bye bye darling boy. Take care of yourself my own precious boy. With heaps of precious love and tonnes of kisses. Your ever loving girly. Fluffums x x x x
