    Text HANWELL WEDDING.
    MR. GEORGE GOULD AND MISS DORIS SMITH
    A quiet but pretty wedding took place on Wednesday at St. Mellitus's Church, the contracting parties being Mr. George Jay Gould, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs E. S. Gould, of The Broadway, Hanwell, and Miss Doris Jay Smith, daughter of Mrs Tank and the late Mr. H. Jay Smith, of Ealing.
    The bride was attired in a two-piece dress of floral green crepe-de-chine with picture hat to match, and carried a bouquet of daffodils and lilies. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the home of the bridegroom. The happy pairwho were the recipients of many useful presents, later left for their future residence in Kingsley-avenue, West Ealing. The best man was Mr. H. J. Gould, and the bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. Smith.
