DEATH OF MR. ALFRED PIPER.—The death occurred In nursing home on Sunday of Mr. Alfred Piper, aged 80. who from 1897 to 1924 resided at Victoria House, The Moor, and was the proprietor of a grocer’s and draper’s business, which for the past 17 years has been carried on by his son. Mr. Louis J. Piper. The late Mr. Piper lived in retirement at Brighton. His wife died in October. 1937, and was burled In Hawkhurst Parish Churchyard, where the mortal remains were laid to rest yesterday (Thursday). Mr. and Mrs. Piper had five children. |
